Musical Theatre Dance Class
Come shine and explore the beginning of theatrical dance through exploration of movement, expression, and learning basic elements of musical theatre dance. This is a creative, beginning theatrical dance class for the aspiring young dancer who also loves the stage. A performance of a choreographed piece learned in the class will be showcased on stage on the last day of class.
Introduction to Acting through Storytelling: The Day the Crayons Quit
In this colorful introductory class to acting, students will learn the basic first elements of acting, play creative dramatic games, learn what theatre is all about, and how to tell stories through expression and movement. We’ll be diving into the story The Day The Crayons Quit, bringing it to life in the form of a play, which will be performed on stage on the last day of class. This is a perfect beginning class for your expressive young children!
Lunch Break 11:30am
Music Class
Learn fundamental musical skills through vocal and/or instrumental instruction! Students will learn one or two songs and will get the chance to perform their musical pieces on the last day of class. This is an exciting and unique way to make music as a group!
